“Invention heralds end to agony”
A WOMAN who suffered agonising back pain after a riding accident has found relief thanks to a remarkable hand held device.
Sarah Bunn suffered so badly with osteoarthritis in her back that she could barely lift a saddle onto one of her horses.
The pain was triggered by a fall from a horse 10 years ago, which dislodged her lower vertebrae.
The situation became so bad that it sometimes stopped Mrs Bunn carrying out everyday tasks around the house.
Despite painkilling injections, the pain eventually robbed her or the joy of riding the horses bred at her home in Worcestershire.
But that was before Mrs Bunn discovered a new therapy called Electronic Nerve Modulation (ENM).
The 58-year-old’s recovery has been so amazing that she has just returned from a riding holiday in Tuscany. From initially using the device four times a day, Mrs Bunn says she now hardly needs therapy at all.
Many people who use the device report their chronic pain is significantly reduced afterwards. And, with long standing pain affecting one in five adults the ENM device is set to help thousands more pain sufferers.
Mrs Bunn said: “The pain I suffered was horrendous. The only way I could describe it was that it was like your pelvis being scraped by coral. It stopped me from doing everyday things, even lifting a saddle sometimes.
“Shopping was difficult, people could see in my face that I was in pain. But this device has enabled me to get some of my life”.
